2001 406 coupe 2.0 SE manual for sale in Lymington, Hampshire.

Unfortunately having to sell my coupe due to moving abroad next year.
Shes been an excellent daily driver in my ownership, I am often complemented on her looks!
Being a 25 year old with 147,000 miles its obviously got its quirks:

The pros:
- New aux belt, pulleys and tensioners this spring.
- Oil and filters changed over winter.
- New electric window actuator fitted in spring.
- New battery last year.
- ULEZ compliant.
- Upgraded REMUS exhaust, giving a subtle low engine note.
- Towbar fitting with electrics, just needs physical bar bolted on if desired.
- Very economical, averaging over 50mpg on most drives.
- Boot full of spares from previous owners, including discs, lights, radiators etc.
- Rust free underside and bodyshell in good condition with no obvious dents or rust.
- 2x keys and original owners handbook.

Stuff that still needs doing:
- Old tyres, this has been an advisory for several MOTs, the front ones definitely need replacing soon.
- Peeling window tint on rear window needs removing.
- Seat heaters no longer work, but electric adjustment and memory still working well.
- Engine warning light came on after aux belt fell off. Unfortunately garage couldnt cancel this as it uses a peugeot specific port. Due to cars age (pre 2003) this doesnt affect MOTs, and can probably be sorted at a peugeot garage.
- wear and tear reflecting mileage, the drivers seat has a small rip and theres a few stonechips and paint marks.
- Weird dashboard sound every time car is started. I believe its related to the aircon/heater system, always disappears after 5 seconds. Has never been a real problem in my ownership so never got it sorted.

Overall, an honest usable car, which with a little more TLC would be a modern classic. Hopefully price reflects work needed.
