I'm putting this here now so we're early for next years meet(s). Since 2011 (someone correct me if I have that wrong) we've gone to Pugfest. Location is good, nice place to be etc, but perhaps for those who have been each year (like myself) find each year the same old. For others it may not be an issue, more of an opportunity to catch up with fellow coupe owners & eat free food :D .

I spoke with a few of you at Pugfest this year about a change in meet / venue & FCS (French Car Show) was mentioned. I think we last went to this as a club in 2010 at Rockingham in Corby, Northamptonshire. Well they now hold FCS at Donington in Derbyshire.

Those who were at Rockingham in 2010 complained a lot about the dusty / sandy car park where everyone was parked, crap & dust was blown everywhere when the wind picked up, that was our last year there.

My question to you all is, where would you like for us to attend next year? I've added a poll, any new suggestions please do post them..

Not sure how to vote,
As we plan on going to Pugfest & F.C.S next year along with a few others if possible :?

So as long as the club are attending one of the above that's cool 8)

Carrying over this suggestion from another thread/conversations ... the Donington Classic. nice grassy infield for lots of car clubs, seriously reduced ticket prices for car club attendees, you get the racing all day and free run of the paddocks.

I am unsure how to vote as I will attend Pugfest [PSCUK’s Peugeot Festival] if firstly the date works for me, and secondly, if the organisers get themselves sorted to get the Bugatti shed open to visitors. I would also consider FCS at Donington (does anyone know the date? see comment below) but I really do like the suggestion of the Donington Historic on 03, 04 and 05 May and already have that one in the diary for 2019.

Note, the previous FCS was held on the weekend of the French Grand Prix so the 2019 date could be 21, 22 and 22 June ... these, however, are problem dates for me.

Tim,

F.C.S was 7th & 8th of July this year,
Looking at next years Calendar I would think 2019 will be 6th & 7th of July :unknown:

With regards to the Donington classic, that could be three coupes then at least :Rose:
This is also on my list :good:

If the date suits then I will look to make it.

Have just pinged an e-mail to the FCS organisers to establish dates and venue

FCS sounds a good idea if the Donington Classic is less favoured. The venue is perfect for us

I have it on good authority that F.C.S hangs in the balance this year :o

So it's looking like Pugfest & The Donington Classic + hopefully a few local meets
Oh & Retro Rides Gathering :good:
Love that meet.
