Owned and loved by me since 2009, rare Solstice Gold diesel, 118K miles, timing belt replaced at 65K miles. Now a second car but still used regularly (c.2K miles per year), MOT to May 2025. Full service and repair history, recent new tyres. Everything works. Chip Express tuning box fitted - 160+ bhp, 300 ft/Ilbs torque, up to 60 mpg). Runs and drives beautifully, but now for the negatives: Cosmetically poor - paint is deteriorating (flaking and blistering in places), some minor rust spots, and crack in front bumper. Wheels are reasonable and original. NS headlight glass is yellowing/pitting. Interior good but fabric on door cards is sagging due to glue degrading. Central locking is a little temperamental - OK in summer but cold and damp sometimes causes doors to fail to unlock, needing a second press of the key fob, but locks OK. Information display on centre console works but patchy when cold and damp. Also fades as it gets warm, but clear on start-up. I'm trying to find the car a good home with an enthusiast who can return it to the glory it deserves. Potential buyers really need to see and drive it to fully appreciate its good and bad points.
