Any ideas for a coupe club gathering in 2018,
Inside the UK, much as I would like, I can't run to the international meeting this year

We have a few members in the Oxfordshire/Berkshire/Hampshire area.

If people just want to a local breakfast/lunch meet and a chat about Coupe's, I can think of two places.

Or can do the "full UK meet" type event, like We have done in past years at Beaulieu Motor Museum or Gaydon Motor Museum, who will both do a dedicated parking area.

If anyone has some good meet up venue suggestions, please chip in:

Last year someone did mention an American diner near Newbury. Was it Little Nellies?

Yes its next to the shell garage just outside of Kingsclere. My stomping grounds.. :D

I have a back up suggestion of the Ace cafe in London which has meets for all different types of club almost every day. Out of my way, but a good one to do at some point.

Scotland?
Just putting it out there.
There are a few of us up here, and we travel a minimum of 8hrs down to Pugfest.

Glencoe would make a fantastic meet for coupes, it is quite simply one of the most beautiful roads for scenery in the world.

Agreed, it's a long way from Somerset but I would consider attending as I could combine with a long overdue visit to friends :friends:

Scotland has fantastic scenery - when it's not raining....!!

I've Cycled, Driven & Hill Walked all over Scotland and even got stuck along with other motorist's on the "C0ck Bridge to Tomintoul" road due to snow, while touring around Scotland last April....!!!!

+2 For Scotland,
We have ideas for doing the North coast 500 in the coupe at some time.

Having never really had leisure time in Scotland, I'd be up for a touring meet to drink in the scenery and empty (?) roads

Looks like a fantastic drive, the 500
Would need to be two nights I would think, one to recover from the drive up .
One thing though is there plenty of petrol stations for all your thirsty 3L haha

I would like to think there are possibilities.
Of course would have to make it worthwhile by staying up there for a few days.

got to plan when to do the 500 as its really busy during summer months, but there are alternative routes, some stunning military roads that go through loch lommond and glencoe.

Yes I'm well aware of that, we were thinking of May.
But not this year, too short notice (for us)
& too much wrong with the coupe  at the moment anyway :fool:

Any advance on Scotland. Can anyone cook up a plan for a location/tour long weekender. Definite interest here but i know practically nothing about the area(s) other than being able to look up best driving routes online.
